Wendover Marijuana Dispensary

With the new Wendover Nevada marijuana dispensary set to open soon, we had word on the news tonight that the Utah Highway Patrol will not step up with a Stop and Frisk All Drivers Program. That is why local wards in Wendover and Tooele County will soon be implementing their own Stop and Proseletize ...

Re: Church Renews Opposition to ERA

President Nelson could perhaps have a revelation in order to cement opposition to the ERA in place, at least until it becomes uncemented through another revelation (depending on the feedback of young members skedaddling).

Re: Church Renews Opposition to ERA

Why is it important to the Brethren to not have this protection for women written into the Constitution? After all, it does not prohibit the Church from denying equal rights to women. Women can still be second class citizens in the LDS Church and the ERA would not attempt to remedy that status, so w...

Family Shunning for Disbelief Thank goodness the LDS Ceremony of Discommendation is becoming less frequent. It was regrettable when disaffected family members were forced to run the gauntlet and jabbed repeatedly with pain sticks by TBM family members. Sometimes the pain was so intense that the dis...

Church Renews Opposition to ERA

The Church has renewed its opposition to the Equal Rights Amendment citing the bogus reasons given back in the 1980s, such as women getting jobs and women running amok in the streets after being overwhelmed with too many rights. The only difference now is that LDS women may no longer buy into such b...

Wish LDS Elders would only judge once they have taken up residence in Israel and have been issued a judging permit by the Knesset.

Re: Bill Nye is a prophet.

Bill Nye had something to say about climate change, which is something the LDS prophets, seers, and revelators have been silent about (even though rising global temperatures may lead to an increase in bare shoulders).

Basically this young adult is catatonic, nonresponsive. Hospital says its psychological, no medical cause.
Has this been evaluated at a non-IHC hospital?

Does anyone remember that famous work jingle from yesteryear?
Look for the Mormon label
It means she will work for less
Look for the Mormon label
She is willing to be second best!
Ah, nostalgia.

First American Thanksgiving

The first American Thanksgiving occurred at Plymouth Plantation between Sept. 21 and Nov. 11, 1621, with the most likely time being around Michaelmas (Sept. 29). Michaelmas would be familiar to the business people in the LDS Corporation as the start of one of the four quarter days on the financial c...

Re: Too much love?

Members are supposed to stand when Apostles enter the chapel, foyer, relief society room, or even the restroom. They should remain standing until the Apostle is seated. There is even a song to accompany this show of reverence. It is called "Hail to the Apostle". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enuOA...

Pretty sure this Newton fellow wrote, “What goes up must come down, spinning wheel got to go round.”
