Re: Priesthood vs. Energy Healing
The church's version of magical healing also involves magical oil! So there's that... Yes, they used to sell consecrated oil at temple square consecrated by different church leaders... https://rsc-legacy.byu.edu/archived/our-rites-worship-latter-day-saint-views-ritual-history-scripture-and-...

Re: What are you doing to protect your family against the virus?
Prayers, thoughts, candles, poems, Wiccan spells, Chicken noodle soup for the soul, whatever else makes you tick would be appreciated for them. They’re much older and frail than us. Fluffy thoughts lobbed in the general direction of the land southward for Mr. and Mrs. Ryder, and their relative. May...

Re: Graceful Transfer of Power
So, anyway, I think should start the rumor that trump was always and still is a democrat. Just look at all he accomplished for the democrats. He brought them back to power. Nobody could have done a better job of destroying the Republican Party. Nobody. Holy Cheetos Batman! As usual, the rationality...

Re: Graceful Transfer of Power
Good thing they're all white people. Black people who vandalize shopfront are rioters and looters who are met with teargas and rubber bullets. White people who vandalize the capitol are merely protestors. If the captitol had been stormed by a mob of black people they would be stacking up corpses by...

Re: RFM and Peter Bleakley
I've been slowly getting through Bleakley's FakeBook "presentations." (YouTube links posted above.) He's way too honest/blunt in his calling out of the top brass to remain a member "in good standing" for very long methinks. Unless... He's had his 2nd-Anointing™ like another cohort of his from the UK...

Re: Studying Antiquity
It literally makes me laugh out loud when biblical apologists say things like "I think people 'back then' had better memories than we have today, because..." (insert laughable apologetic argument here.) So... Life expectancy, and pretty much everything about being human just continues to get better...

Re: The missionary half-story
Hmm... It seems I may have missed out on telling many missionary half-stories. (They sound a bit like ghost stories?) Since it sounds like many of these ghost stories are related to giving away "the most correct book" I served my two-year sentence during the "give away as many BoM's as possible" so ...

Re: Is Christianity Dying?
According to the Pew Research Center, Christianity is "declining" at a rapid pace. Does that mean it's "dying"? I seem to remember that religion in general is declining. Europe is the same. Is it just the "Western" world, or is religion declining elsewhere also? In U.S., Decline of Christianity Cont...

Re: Changes to LDS Handbook 2020
I "heard" that there was a change as to what kind of temple "stuff" can be discussed outside the walls of a Polygamy Palace™.
Anyone hear / read anything like that?
I mean... I could attempt to look it up myself... But that would take time away from surfing "apostate" message boards.
