Re: Renewed my TR unexpectedly today
I think mine expires this month or last November. Too lazy to check. But I hope they get by with all my correct responses.

Re: Why is that lady crying?
New GD teacher and she is a cryer. She spent half of the lesson crying on Sunday. My TBM wife said she couldn’t take it any more and was going to find a different class...tender mercies

I didn’t even know it closed. I guess that is a sign I’m distancing myself. Whoohoo me.

Re: What do you think?
Did you see Holland try to explain away the fabrication of the book of Abraham? I'm not sure what you're referring to, 2bizE. Can you provide a link? I was 2bizE to provide the link..... I was referring to his BBC interview where he was struggling to make any sense of how JS translated the BOA ...

I've seen this done a few times, usually with a young girl who is pregnant.

7-8...they know. Did you see Holland try to explain away the fabrication of the book of Abraham? He struggled within because he knows or put it all together at that moment that the.church is a fraud.

Re: President Monson's Passing
I feel RMN and aunt Wendy will be fairly benign. I fear the dark lords Oaks and Bednar. They have too much unchecked power. They need to be grounded in reality. As for TSM, I always liked his talks. Sad to see his was an a$$, but I don't think he started that way. He was an apostle for 40+ years. He ...

My wife and I have watched the entire Outlander series on Starzs. Fantastic. My DW was quite TBM when it came to nudity. She loves it now. We both do. This series is full of love, passion, intrigue, sex, wars, etc. We both have loved it and now can't wait for the next season. Best of all: no guilt ...

I find Benjamin the Scribe to have a lot of good and insightful material. Here’s a link.

Re: Cringe Worthy Degrees of TBM Piousness
Several years ago, I came down with an acute illness that left me unable to eat or drink for several days. I became so dehydrated I needed my wife to take me the the hospital. My wife called the neighbor, explained the situation, and asked if she could take our two small kids for a few hours. She ...

I have booze stashed in the kitchen. My husband, though an antimo, doesn't drink and disapproves of it. Whenever he finds a bottle of something and comments on it, I say it's for cooking. Yeah, I cook with Mike's harder lemonade. He still has no clue that I drink. This is great. I love cooking. The ...

I think it needs more magic and superstition...

Re: Stats on members leaving?
One thing for certain is more are joining than officially leaving. However, we know about 70-80% who join leave unofficially. If 70-80% of those who join leave, is the 30% who stay enough to offset those who are the long-termers who are leaving? Over time, probably not. The church claims about 16 ...

Re: Snufferites
I find the snufferites stuck between being TBMs and NOMs. They want to believe that JS was a prophet, and that all of his magic was true, and yet not believe in the current leaders. Over time, they will drift away from JS and his teachings, and then what? Not sure. Many have already taken the hard ...

I just sets the standard that everyone will commit untold hours with no expectation of payment. If the bishop isn’t paid, then why would anyone else?
