Re: Leaders who incite violence.

This is why I think that when RMN says crap like the youth is the “Lord’s Battalion” it really falls flat with the kids today. The kids don’t want to be violent, they want to be accepting and loving. Those old duffers at HC are so stuck in the 50’s though they can’t see how idiotic they sound to yo...

End the Patriarchy

I was reading through the Intros and stumbled upon a term that made me smile. For privacy, I will not mention the name, but it rhymed with "miver rorgan, "End the Patriarchy." I would love some discussion about this. I'm writing a book. It's sort of a scifi/alternate reality/romance/savior story. My...

Re: Keeping up with Trump

Today's news: Mitch McConnell admitted today that he holds President Trump at least partly responsible for the assault on the capital. McConnell said, “The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people. And they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific pro...

Re: Is Christianity Dying?

SaidNobody is talking about Archetypes. Carl Jung was more of a philosopher than he ever was a psychologist. I only read 3 books about Carl Jung. The guy had some damn fascinating ideas. But I wasn't thinking of Archetypes, because as I going through is books, that isn't what was catching my attent...

Re: Leaders who incite violence.

Interesting mixture of rumors. The facts, or truth, doesn't really matter to me. I realized that I was justifying murder in my heart. I had to believe that if "our people" had murdered 140 people that there must have been a good reason. After I watched the documentary I just felt a heavy sadness. W...

I don’t “know” anyone as in “on going relationship.
That is too bad. If you want an introduction, some of them are pretty cool. Most of my sisters are in education or social work. They are a little more arrogant than me, but still nice people.

Re: Leaders who incite violence.

My dad had some oral history from someone who participated in the killing. At least I guess, I would sure like to know where the hell he knew some of what he knew. That is the only explanation for some of the things he told my family in about 1957ish (I would have been under 8) when we first visite...

Re: LDS History in Arizona

I remember going here when I was about 15. One of my mothers showed me a grave that was dated much later, I think in 1890s, that she claimed was the real gravestone for John D Lee. I don't remember all the details, but Brigham Young supposedly helped fake the execution. One of your mothers? Is ther...

I'm going to make my last post on Donald J Trump, and it's simply this.

Thank you Donald, the last few months you have managed to make me obsess about something other than Mormonism. Thank you very much.

That is all.
He is the gift that keeps on giving. Thanks for the conversations.

Has someone who has been watching is kind of violence for over a year now, I have kind of gotten used to spotting the antifa warrior. They usually wear black, carry a backpack, and usually have some form of gear hanging from their backpack. In one of the videos that I was reviewing, you could see th...

Re: Leaders who incite violence.

BTW I was making a funny about the 144 years versus 144 victims. And I have no reason to believe that MMM had to do anything with the 9/11. Anyway. This is what I have been watching for the last 4 years. Hundreds and hundreds of hours of this. These are just short clips with some of the highlights. ...

Re: Philosopher AI's answer to: Who is God?

To base your identity on the idea that another word/idea lacks definition, seems rather vague. That's fair, and I personally gravitate toward the "ignostic" label primarily in avoidance of two other terms that I don't care for: agnostic and atheist. I've never applied either of those terms to my ow...

Re: What is Parker?

So I watched about 50 of the videos of the link. I watched the "faked call to Nancy." I watch them call the cops traitors. Nancy, we are coming for you. This is our house. We did it. I saw a half accounts of people saying that they believed that Antifa had started the trouble. I heard a few people s...

Re: What is Parker?

Thanks for not trying to convince me or argue with me. That way, I don't have to argue or convince you. What I heard you say was that "things were said and Big Tech, (google, amazon, Twitter, Facebook, etc) took it upon themselves to "purge" almost 7 million conservative accounts and kill an indepen...

Re: Is Christianity Dying?

Oh sure, some of us feel dumb about entertaining the idea. It's convenient to allow others to look stupid as they explore this crazy idea that we are children of the stars. But if every believer suddenly disappeared then plenty atheists would take up the cause. I wonder if this might be one thing t...

Re: Faith is disbelief in alternative possibilities.

...Consciousness is God. Our experience is what makes us unique. But ideas react within consciousness much like chemistry. So if someone calls us a liar or worthless it can really do a number on us. That is one of the main reasons we have to build defenses. One of the most powerful defensive techni...

Re: Keeping up with Trump

Hmm, SN, I admit I don't really understand what the hell you're trying to say. I asked what we can expect from the Trumpers now. I guess we first need to agree that Joe Biden is going to be the president in a few days (unless something happens to him). Trump will not be the president. Can you agree...

Re: Leaders who incite violence.

And then there is Brigham Young and his incitement of violence and Mountain Meadows. This isn't fair. I don't like BY much, but he covered up the crime, he didn't incite it. Even though the innocent 144 wagon train members might have been the only victims of the Utah War, Utah was at war with the U...
