Awesome advice and suggestions. I am also in primary. I teach the 9,10 and 11 yr olds. One thing that helps me stay true to my NOM self; I try to use my lessons to inoculate them against all the cultural crap that will eventually be taught to them as doctrine. This whole thread makes me so sad - I've known many of you for nearly two years, and I know you're all incredibly wonderful and caring people, and you love your families. How I wish those things were given the priority they should be given in this church, rather than the long list of rules, rituals...

This is a great! I think it is easy to forget what it was like at the beginning of our FTs. It's such a scary, emotional time. And some people just need a safe place to take baby steps.
