Re: Need your suggestions

I like Phoenix

Yes, its a tad warm in the summer. The remaining 9 months are splendid. A lot of nice areas that are priced within reason. Major airport to get anywhere in the country. Up and coming art/culinary/cultural scene.

Any trump came here for a rally speech recently.

Oh man, this whole document is gold https://mormonleaks.io/wiki/documents/a/a9/The_Ten_Commandments_of_Priesthood_Correlation_and_the_Home_Teaching_Constitution-Bruce_R_McConkie.pdf McKonkie says here- let me rewrite some scripture for you. The oath and covenant of the priesthood have terms and cond...

from the recent mormonleaks dump 1. Thou shalt teach correct principles and let the people govern themselves The principle of self-government is basic to the entire administration of the Church. We operate on the principle of love and persuasion without compulsion. This is the order of heaven. Presi...

Fold the laundry how she likes it to be folded
Dude, is that even possible? Laundry folding is hard.
no, it's not possible. But you get partial credit for making an attempt. Sometimes, if she's in a good mood.

It's decaying slowly. But the heart of the beast (slc) is the last to show signs of mortality. The brain can degenerate to a mere spec of its former self but the heart keeps pumping. The extremities can wither but the heart keeps pumping. The digestive Tract might be extremely unsettled but the hear...

What does reciprocation look like? When you figure it out, let us know. My suggestions (which are probably wrong) Do the dishes on night she goes out to RS/random ward activity. This is not Linked's night off, but a chance to shine. Compliment her on her dress/appearance when she goes to church nex...

Nobody really wants to talk with me about it anymore, even though I am more than happy to engage.
Yup

I simply try to find other things to talk about. Easier said than done sometimes.

That is cool. It seems like an olive branch to me. Maybe a start to being able to tolerate your needs. Make sure to reciprocate.

I don't know what to suggest. I don't yet have children in this age category. Ignore it and it will go away. I'm sorry she's earned it but they're keeping it hostage. Don't fall for their stupid game. I'd wager if she holds out, they might give it to her anyway. They're probably very interested in m...

Re: Sitting and Standing

This video kills me. Is he really that big of an egomaniac? All the stories i've heard indicate "yes". Yet I don't have first hand experience. When did it become a thing to not stand before a Q15? This video can't be the first example of such behaviour. Sadly, I fear the accusations of Bednar are co...

Re: Bednar's wife?

Maybe, maybe not. This is much too speculative for my capacity. I'm guessing if you pinned her down, she would say she is happy as a lark. And she probably is happy as she understands what happiness is. She is sealed to an apostle, she is already thinking how to decorate her eternal mansions. Having...

Just my $.02 I think it's nice you said you didn't attend and still believe in Jesus. I'm going to assume you believe in the ideals of Jesus (be nice to people/don't judge) even if not in the literary Jesus. Sounds like she was ignorant racist. You showed your true colors in being kind to all. You w...

I've been trying to figure out how to explain the "mostly", and I'm still not sure how to sum it up, but I'll try. DH was very open with me before even really starting on his "faith journey" (or whatever you want to call it) and has been all along. I wasn't real thrilled with the idea, but he clear...

There, I fixed it :D But really, Korihor, why do you feel the mods need testing? You obviously feel like you pushed it a little too far or you wouldn't call it a test. As a great man once said, "Test thyself." But since you asked, I changed it to a-hole in the original post. Hagoth, Taking the SS o...

We'll forever be Mormon, it's our people and tribe, but we can't conform to what it's b...
