Utah's Beloved Gospel is Fraud The Worst in the U.S.

Astonishing article on Utah's Celestial Gospel of Fraud: https://www.deseret.com/2019/4/29/20671 ... ted-states Pugsley, who blogs about Utah fraud, said there's no clear answer as to why fraud is more rampant in Utah than in other states. But after helping people recover losses from investment frau...

Re: Are they worshipping the Church?

Freefallin My experience as a member was that god and the church are basically the same. My current spiritual beliefs tell me that God/ Spirit/ Universe/ Source/ Higher Self (whatever) is nothing like the mormon god. In fact, if I believed in Stan, I would say the church leans more that way. After ...

Re: An Old White Man Discusses Racism

Complete lack of divine intervention when I needed it most. TBM response: Oh sure, blame it on God. Is your pride making you overlook the REAL reason? You obviously weren't worthy, or not sincere, or not patient enough to know that it would happen in God's time, or too stiff-necked to see that it h...

RFM's new podcast of the CES director demonstrates the abject horror that missions were and still are. Mormonism is just all about image. It has precious little substance, if it ever did at all.

BTW, Trump has not brought America to a peak of greatness. If anything he has been a blotch.
Even this is far too charitable and credits him too much.

Re: Is Big Tech the new Church?

SaidNobody Trump is the president of the US. They have actually blocked and filtered his tweets. When it's just dumbass blatant lies and made up information, of course. When it's verifiably wrong, dead wrong, then of course. DUH. It's time Trump puts on his big boy pants and just goes away like he ...

Re: An Old White Man Discusses Racism

Yep. It was one of the main two ingredients in mine. I could have put one huge issue on the back burner if I had been able to trust church leaders that it would all work out... but I couldn't trust them. What was the other one? Complete lack of divine intervention when I needed it most. THIS

If you are conservative, you are not allowed to speak.
I'll call your assertion and raise you the umpteen literally tens of thousands of Donald Trump's tweets where he gets to say anything he wants, no matter how stupid, wrong, or factually ridiculous it is......

Wow such low self esteem..........you can get help for that if that's all you can imagine....... I find Joseph Smith more honest, open, scientifically aligned, and r...

Moksha They do it not as a reasoned response; they believe it is the will of their General Authorities. Members have been taught to doubt their doubts, so even if Trump appears to be both a pathological liar and malignant narcissist whose entire message repudiates their gospel, they will obey the p...

Mormorrisey on Oaks What utter, utter nonsense he's spewing these days. I see, upon seeing other's reactions to the old white duffers in Utah comments on anything they ever talk about, that my having a faith crisis, as the church wades through its truth crisis, has been an astonishing blessing of s...

Re: Important overlooked Book of Abraham cosmology problem

Hagoth Of course, the biggest underlying problem is that if God was going to go to all of the trouble to turn the Urim and Thummim into a telescope to show Abraham how the universe works, why would he he show him the incorrect version invented by men who didn't know what the hell was going on. Why ...

It snowed on me and my shelter did fantastic! built it from scratch like the old Mountain Men, and it worked beautiful. LOTS of fantastic forest and majestic mountains in the Kilgore Wilderness.
