Re: Voting Opposed

I would be curious to know if anyone from the ward contacts you, because of their own disbelief. You know (beyond a shadow of a doubt-snark) there has to be some in all wards. Towing the line for appearance, or keeping the peace. For me, it's about not breaking the parent's hearts. I don't tow the l...

You could always fill it with a little "something" to help get through church.

For example, what if we gave awards to the conference speakers:

Re: Am I On The Nursery Of Visiting Teaching Routes? [Update]

No. People are chosen for callings by inspiration. There is no "route." It's all revelation. Didn't you all know that?

From the above link (https://mormonleaks.io/wiki/documents/7/7c/Mormon_Leaks_DMCA_Response-2017-03-13.pdf) "You tried to blow out a single candle, but in the process, you knocked it over into a field of dried leaves." This little gospel light of mine, I'm going to let it shine... This little gospel ...

Alright - a little more story while I'm on the John.
Any corn in it? :P

I get polite avoidance. I don't think avoidance is polite, but it's better than the notes, cookies, and showing up unannounced.

Ward Pariah! Hey that's me.
FINALLY, I have a reputation.

But I am female; I'm only a second class pariah. Never catch a break.

Re: An interesting training

This brings back some of the sadness I felt when first battling with dissent. Though I am happier now and feel free to live life, it is still hard to take. Weird because beyond some anger and sadness, walking away was pretty easy. Maybe it's just a soft spot for those who are so entrenched. Sometime...

Re: Wardrobe improvements.

I've been FREE of the atrocities for over 5 years. I remember how wonderful it was to shed them. It took me about six months to toss them in the trash. I don't know why it took so long. I did not cut out the markings; I was so naughty. Funny that throwing away undies was how I would feel naughty. Ha...

Re: Top three most troubling doctrines/issues

You all are a bunch of whiners and liars. Everyone knows that you are just looking for ways to be offended so you can sin. Sinning is fun and addicting. All you guys out there just want functioning factories to operate in whatever way pleases you. You need an excuse to hang on to that extra 10%, and...

Don't you all already pray that the spirit be with you before you engage in martial relations? No? Bunch of apostates all of you! I'm not an apostate - we always start off by say our prayer "For what we are about to receive, let us be truly thankful!" ;) Better to give than to receive?

Re: marital innuendo humor

One problem is, while there are those who do not like naughty talk, women are not supposed to like it; men are. I talk much naughtier than my husband. I alway make sex or poo jokes. Maybe it's the middle school teacher in me, but it makes me laugh and so far has not made me a trampy, porn crazy, poo...

I always avoided the blessing thing. People in the church lived and died the same as anyone else. It's God's will for the outcome, so why bother? I suppose the placebo is good for some people. I always thought it was a worthless practice (even as a TBM). Obedience and faith.
