Re: Leaders who incite violence.
I think it might be mildly racist to say that we are more evolved than perhaps Mongolians or people of the Middle East even people from Africa. Many of them are strongly driven to procreate, not respecting social boundaries. I apologize if you read that into my comment. I'm absolutely NOT saying th...

Re: Leaders who incite violence.
Howdy Ho, partner. Your sarcasm is appreciated but perhaps misplaced. I do not know why I am always painted as the barbarian when I point out the finer points of nature. I lettered in Sarcasm in high-school and it's probably my only redeeming quality. Thank you for your reply. I wanted to give my p...

Re: Leaders who incite violence.
This is why I think that when RMN says crap like the youth is the “Lord’s Battalion” it really falls flat with the kids today. The kids don’t want to be violent, they want to be accepting and loving. Those old duffers at HC are so stuck in the 50’s though they can’t see how idiotic they sound to yo...

Here are his original recordings that are now on YouTube. I started listening to them and a lot of the content is also talked about on the RFM interview... Re: Any genetic evidence found of Lehi's migration to America?
Hagoth, if you ever decide to dissect another gospel topic essay, please let us know! Or at least shoot me a PM, okay? River River, does the idea of hearing Hagoth on the Radio Free Mormon podcast sound appealing to you? It sounds appealing to me. Unheralded scholars like Hagoth and Kerry Shirts wo...

Re: Does Russell Nelson have the guts?
...there are currently 323,000 people watching it... so it certainly has gotten the attention of many church members... That is interesting. I wonder if they held it on a Friday during the day as a numbers test to see how strong their influence still is with the base membership in the pandemic. I m...

Re: Pope Endorses Same Sex Civil Unions
There are waaaaaaay more Catholics in the world than Mormons. In South America the majority of religious people are catholic and are the primary targets for missionaries. If the acceptance of gay unions trickles down among the common catholic membership the church will need to shift the same directi...

Re: Sunday Morning NOMference!!!!
I can't take it anymore. Logging in only to give Mr Nelson -1000 because he deserves it. His condescending tone is unbearable. He stopped just short of saying punch out of your marriage with us covenant breakers. I am mowing the lawn during the next session. Eff the Mormon Church. What did he say? ...

Re: General Konference Predictions
I’m guessing about every speaker will also kiss RMN’s a$$ about how inspired he was to institute home based CFM and how ministering has been a rousing success in place of home teaching. How blessed they all have been just basking in the greatness of the one and only capital T True prophet in our wic...

Re: My wife got flowers from her dead father, c/o her TBM sister
Send a bouquet of flowers to sister with a note saying, “Found out the church is a scam”, love Dad. Hmm. Some gentler variant of this might be appropriate. "Dearest daughter, we all think the world of you, having joined with the essence of your wonderful father. We're all pulling for you, and hope ...

Re: Grit and Mormonism
The Church is a parasite. It sucks away your time, energy, passion, and devotion, and it insatiable, never-ending, overwhelming demands. As my kids drifted farther from Mormonism, I used to occasionally worry that they would have problems finding stability and direction in life without it, and I wo...

Re: Looking For Work
So sorry to hear this... I hope you find something quickly. I’m not sure about the mid-Atlantic, but if you have a military installation close and wouldn’t mind working for the Department of Defense, I saw an email recently from USA Jobs.com that the F-35 Lightning program is looking for engineers. ...

Re: Temple time capsule opened 128 years later.
Did they HAVE to open it or could they have just put it back once Moroni’s trumpet was glued back in place and they put him back atop Oz tower? To me it speaks to Rusty’s arrogance and self-importance that HE should be the HAIC (head a$$hole in charge) when the time capsule should be opened.

A Universe from Nothing by Lawrence Krauss I agree with Hagoth, this was very interesting. Thanks for the link. I listened this morning while I went for a drive up to snowbasin by myself. Fascinating. Really got me thinking. When I got home my TBM DW wanted to watch Ephriam’s Rescue to celebrate the...

Re: My Interview with Brian Hauglid is Up!
My head is still spinning a bit about how significant this interview was. Thanks you Consiglieri and thank YOU Brian Hauglid for your honesty and transparency! Simon Southerton has criticized Hauglid for waiting until he retired to come forth with this stuff, but I certainly don't fault him. Dan Pe...

Re: My Interview with Brian Hauglid is Up!
I’ve listened to about half so far and it is really good. This is one I wish I could get my DW to listen to. She is very beholden to intellectual Mormons so she would either need to critically think about his statements, or, default to the devil must have got to him. Either way, his credentials woul...
