Sounds like Oaks is about to allow women to do something under the direction of the PH without actually giving them the PH.

Sorry for being snide, but because his first talk just hours ago was so great, here's Eyring... again. Talking about the restoration... again.

The more I think about it, the more I land on the youth speakers serving two purposes:

1) Youth retention. Conference is now more than old people talking at me. Which brings me to the second purpose...
2) Give exemplars of a young woman and young man in church. "This is how you should be."

And there it is. Finally. Joseph is second only to Jesus.

Oh. He re-wrote BY's statement. BY wasn't saying that they were currently (1800s) building the temple to last through the Millennium, he was saying that they'd do that in the future?

Interesting talk. The temple was built to last forever... but we gotta upgrade it.

There is no time to read off three numbers for membership but they just took 15 minutes to do sustainings.

We don't have time to read the membership statistics, it would detract from the flow of the conference.
