Re: Threw a First Vision Bomb in EQ
Shadow, that is seriously awesome. I LOVE how you were able to reference the essays, that are now easily accessible on everyone's phones. I have to say....Thank you LDS Church!! Now with this being church history year, there are LOTS of opportunities for faithful NOMs to ask questions/make comments ...

Re: I Find Myself Hoping Your Plane Crashes
Linked, I am sorry. From your posts over the last few months I have gathered that you are willing to admit you're not perfect, and that you have really tried to make your marriage work. I don't have a ton of info to go on, but I wanted to say that if my husband told me he wished I would die, I think...

Re: TBM wife jokes about resigning?
Just go with it. Send her the contact info for the lawyer, without additional questions or comments. I'm so jealous, even if she is "joking." You don't say something like that if you are a die hard TBM. She is having doubts. I wish so badly that my husband would wake up from his delusional Mormon fa...

Re: 5 years ago
Korihor, thank you for sharing this personal and heartbreaking story. I have a lot of dysfunction in my family, and your story is a poignant reminder to see the good in others and to find reasons to be grateful for them. I am so sorry for your loss. Hopefully you can do something this holiday season...

This is what I am posting to civilly express a few of my ideas about # lighttheworld "I want to thank all the good people, community service organizations, and churches who make it a priority to give service whenever, wherever, and to whomever it is needed without seeking acknowledgment from others...

Re: I Bore My NOM Testimony *UPDATE*
That was a great testimony. Honestly, I think that part of the reason you got such a positive response is because people are so tired of hearing the same regurgitated (sp?) crap. A sincere testimony like that is a breath of fresh air. Mormons are starving for actual spirituality and substance in mee...

Re: "Helping the world - then telling people about it"
I love that Hagoth. I took a FB break to get away from annoying Mormons a bit after the anti-gay, anti-Jesus policy came out, but I'm still on Instagram. And the "light the world" crap is really annoying me. I may post this.

Re: BYU Honor Code Office Sweeping Changes
I wonder if BYU just put up a curtain to separate title 9 and the honor code office. You win. Literally laughing out loud at this. Seriously, though, hopefully more victims will feel like they can get help now. This is good news, even though BYU would have never done this without Madi Barney''s ext...

I agree that Reddit is pretty chaotic. Honestly, I couldn't even follow it. So I landed on Mormon Discussions, and they were so nice to us.
I think that the silver lining in all of this is that we got Zadok back.

Re: Welcome NOM refugees to NOM 2.0
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to chime in and say thank you to Hagoth, Corsair, and Red Ryder (did I miss someone??) for taking all the time required to set this up. It means a lot to all of us.
