Thanks for the recommendation I will add it to my list. That quiverfull movement is fascinating. It is good to hear sometimes that we aren't the only group going through what we have been through.

I just vote that we have equal representation of male:female moderators as much as possible with those who are available, willing, and would do a good job with it. I'm willing to be a moderator if need be.

I HATE that the church teaches this to young women. I hope your daughter is able to let go of the baggage around the RM stuff and marry someone who is the right choice for her regardless of whether it's the inactive man or someone she hasn't even met yet.

I do think it would shake many if it were revealed that: Members of the Q15 secretly practicing polygamy with multiple living women. Sure, but just imagine what the apologetics would look like if secret polygamy showed up. Senior apostles quietly married off some aging (and some not so aging) spins...

I think you've got good points. I FELT SOOOO GUILTY when I chose to marry DH knowing I loved him more than God/the church. It made me wonder at the time if I should not marry him :shock: glad I was a disobedient little harlot or whatever I want to label it as. 10 years later and I still love him mor...

Well this thread could get fun! I don't think there's much that could shake the members. SO much can just be dusted off as the imperfections of men without ever pinning it to any particular man just a bunch of men who work for COB. Real convenient.
