Re: So Many podcasts, so little time.
I have enjoyed many podcasts. I don’t listen to many of them if they are too long. My favorite ones at the moment 1) Mormonism live 2) Radio Free Mormon 3) Rameumptom Ruminations (usually only 20-30 minutes) https://rameumptomruminations.org/ 4) Mormon Expression with John Larsen (I find them in the...

Bible banned from schools in Davis County, Utah
There has been a lot of hate lately in society, especially around books. People have been uptight about having any books in their school library that has “pornography” , LGBTQ stuff, etc. A complaint about these types of books led to a new policy in Utah banning anything as Pornographic or indecent....

Temple Prayer Roll
Can someone explain to me how the names placed on a piece of paper (maybe even electronically today) can receive special blessings via a prayer? If the names on a prayer roll works for prayers, why not just perform temple ordinance for all dead people in one big single ceremony? For example, “I bapt...

There is always the idea of “changing the church from the inside” that seems to be a reason to stay.

Good to hear from you Mel. It seems like you were living in Netherlands. Do the stakes or wards in Europe cross into different countries? For example, does a stake in Belgium have wards in The Netherlands or Germany?

Re: 60 Minutes this week: LDS & SEC
Something that I do not understand from the 60 Minutes interview was with the Former IRS, Tax Law guy…he said the IRS will likely not do anything to the church for using its non-prophet EPA fund to bail out the Insurance company…he said there were too many political risks…what does that mean? How wo...

I wonder which funds were used to pay the $5 Million fine? Perhaps funds from one of the shell companies?

Re: 60 Minutes this week: LDS & SEC
I would like to bear my testimony that the church is true. The leaders of the church know the covenant path. I wish to follow my loving leaders. To do so, I set up 13 shell companies to pay my tithing through. This is the way. I also have learned from my leaders how to evade paying taxes, which allo...

Re: Historical details do not carry the saving power…
I think seminary has a point…historical details really don’t matter.
In other news, I heard from an Unreliable source that BYU is creating a new building called the Warren Jeffs Center for Women. Sounds like a step in the right direction…

Re: Let’s talk about new temples for a minute
I think it's about Nelson symbolically dancing on Hinckley's grave. This. I think it is a big FU to Hinckley for throwing him under the bus on the name of the church. It was Hinckley who had the vision to create smaller temples and take the temples to the people. RMN wants to snuff out Hinckley’s c...

Re: Church paying $5 Million SEC fine
I was watching the post-attainment speech by the NY district attorney regarding Trump and his 34 counts of fraud. Turns out Trump falsified documents and set up shell companies to hide his crimes….something he said sounded oddly familiar.

Re: What's the point of Oaks sucking up?
By him sucking up to RMN perpetuates the ritual of sucking up to the prophet, which he will want members and leaders to do to him if he doesn’t die before RMN.

Was there not a Sunday afternoon session?
Edit: I’ve been mostly out of Mormonism since Covid and forgot what times conference was held. +10 for me.
