Planted among us to pick our brains, package our emotional pains, and hauled up to the 26th Floor to be converted into General Cobference talks?
Uh... That's not what happens on the 26th floor dude. (Just so you know...)
Okay, I'll bite. What does happen on the 26th floor?

Re: New and Confused (so long its not true, one little woman...)

Hey, Boozer, I just want to say welcome to our community. I hope we can learn from and support each other in mutually beneficial ways. on the topic of feeling based decisions. I have yet to tell DW (planning to tonight) that when the news of her emotional affair first broke I went straight to prayer...

Re: SLC NOM lunch: Wednesday, April 10, City Creek Centre

Good meetup. Good to meet you for the first time, linked, and for the second, Deacon. And cousin-in-law  . I would have never suspected the NOM from across the pond to be from that particular TBM family. TBM or not, I love those people. They've been kind enough to include us in their family tra...

That said it all for me. Insensitive, self-important elitism. And that is being charitable.

Re: Hook, line and creamer

I have wondered whether some of the rumors are deliberately planted through specific sources. It is a known counterespionage technique to try to catch leakers. Hopefully Bill Reel and others are not putting their sources at risk.

By the way did anyone see Ned Flanders singing in the Tab Cats? When did they start allowing mustaches?
He probably won't have it next conference. I knew a guy who had a mustache when he first got in, but bowed to pressure fairly quickly.

Re: SLC NOM lunch: Wednesday, April 10, City Creek Centre

You missed your calling as a 19th century profit. By City Creek I assume you mean the food court just to be clear. For recognition, there is the Santa hat tradition if we have a volunteer. My recollection is that Fluff wasn't too keen on the idea last go around. We have met near the SW corner area. ...

Re: Going to be in Utah in April

Bump.

We are going to have to make a decision here fairly soon. Reuben, as the guest of honor at this gathering I think most of us would gladly defer to your preference. How do you, (and the others if they want to chime in) feel about the suggestions so far?

Re: POX policy gone!!!

The revelation was short lived because we learned the necessary things God intended. And what "necessary things" have been learned? I'm not going to out my TBM hat on to answer this. It doesn't fit and I tossed it. However, FB comments so far are following this line of thinking: God commanded Abrah...

Re: General Konference Predictions

The WoW rumors seem to be really hitting TBMs for this conference... I will be shocked if they allow coffee/tea, but I think it would be HILARIOUS if they do. I think there might be an angle for modification of how Brighamites observe the WoW. It would be the fundamentalist angle. And it would seem...

Re: Going to be in Utah in April

El Menos on 17th S around 2nd W might be an option. I hear they have raised the price on the lunch special lately but it's still around 10 bucks. Seating is easy and it is a good place to talk. ETA: Red Iguana is probably not a great choice because of its popularity. Need to arrive early, they seem ...

Just looked up the address of Uintah's brew pub. Looks close to the ETCOJCOLDS distribution center if anyone needed to purchase something. It would fun to try with mild barley drink on your breath.

How about the original Red Iguana? It has that dive-y kind of feel coupled with arguably the best Mexican in town. And I think Trax runs right up North Temple.

So let me throw out a few ideas Ethnic types I personally like are Thai, Lebanese, Greek, and Mexican (lots of choices for the last one). I think I see in really small letters that that meme (or mormonad or poster or whatever it's called) was made in July 2001. So... maybe the modesty standards have evolved since 2001.
I missed that detail. So insulting the less obedient has been in the culture for a while.
