Re: Is NOM going the direction of some other online groups?

It may be, alas, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It probably means that a lot of us are beyond the obsessive tendencies of early stage 4 faith transition and have moved on to something more healthy. I remember how some of the posters on the old board were driven by their newfound discoverie...

Re: Green tea is officially bad for you, against WoW

There is no better example that I can find of just how clueless the Q15 are about their own scripture and doctrine than the WoW. The main thing they will say about cannabis and the WoW is that it is "addictive". And just for the sake of argument lets take the CDC's figure of 1 in 10 as a measure of ...

You are wearing out your welcome, Ed. We generally welcome disagreement here, but you have jumped straight to being disagreeable. Name calling is no way to further meaningful discussion. I read your introduction. At the time I suspected your issue with other forums said more about you than it did ab...

Re: Regretting the mindset I had for relationships pre-mission

I don't have much to add to what RR already said, but yes, I have found myself in this same kind of mind game. But unless your current life totally sucks there is little to gain from it. You will quickly realize the time traveler's problem of change one thing, change everything. And you look at the ...

Hahaha. I spelled dedicated wrong. Spellcheck corrected it to defacated.
I probably takes context and attitude, not just spelling, into account.

Wow!! So much Bullsh!t!!! Caylee has always been active in the Church. However, as she began to think deeply about the gospel and the Church, some serious questions arose in her mind. She felt guilty for questioning and began searching for answers. Ummm red flag much? How canjust the writers of thi...

I think this policy reversal makes a lot more sense when considered in the context of Elder Holland’s talk: Wrong Roads.
"Wrong Roads" was tailor made for this and many policy reversals before it, and many yet to come.

Planted among us to pick our brains, package our emotional pains, and hauled up to the 26th Floor to be converted into General Cobference talks?
Uh... That's not what happens on the 26th floor dude. (Just so you know...)
Okay, I'll bite. What does happen on the 26th floor?

Hey, Boozer, I just want to say welcome to our community. I hope we can learn from and support each other in mutually beneficial ways. on the topic of feeling based decisions. I have yet to tell DW (planning to tonight) that when the news of her emotional affair first broke I went straight to prayer...

Good meetup. Good to meet you for the first time, linked, and for the second, Deacon. And cousin-in-law  . I would have never suspected the NOM from across the pond to be from that particular TBM family. TBM or not, I love those people. They've been kind enough to include us in their family tra...

I have wondered whether some of the rumors are deliberately planted through specific sources. It is a known counterespionage technique to try to catch leakers. Hopefully Bill Reel and others are not putting their sources at risk.

He probably won't have it next conference. I knew a guy who had a mustache when he first got in, but bowed to pressure fairly quickly.

You missed your calling as a 19th century profit. By City Creek I assume you mean the food court just to be clear. For recognition, there is the Santa hat tradition if we have a volunteer. My recollection is that Fluff wasn't too keen on the idea last go around. We have met near the SW corner area. ...

Bump.

We are going to have to make a decision here fairly soon. Reuben, as the guest of honor at this gathering I think most of us would gladly defer to your preference. How do you, (and the others if they want to chime in) feel about the suggestions so far?
