Re: Update on my "Slow Fade"

As far as things with DW, they aren't good. A few weeks before stake conference, we were discussing our son who joined the deacons quorum. She expressed concern about him looking at porn. I said that I think it's normal for him to look at it now and then, and that I didn't want to shame him for tha...

Re: Book- Ready Player One

I have read this book twice. Its a great read, once before the shelf finally broke and once after. Much better after. I have found that to be true of a couple of book I have re-read since the complete awakening. I re-read Daemon and FreedomTM by Daniel Suarez, I liked them before and they were even...

Re: What are you drinking right now?

So this past weekend was... not fun... I found out Friday that the trial was pushed back another six months. My divorced friends group, for lack of a better title, took me out to dinner tonight. Definitely cheered me up. I tried a margarita- strawberry, my very first one. It tasted good enough I gu...

sure_could_gopher_another_wife.png Genius!!!! Hahahaha! Really... they should have picked a different analogy. They are the ones hitting the moles down so no one can examine history topics for too long, but the history will just keep popping up despite their never ending, misguided efforts. Bizarre.

Re: To clean or not to clean?

Omgosh haha... RR, hilarious as usual! Here is my take- do I mind cleaning? Nope. Do I think it’s good for kids to learn to clean for service? Yep. I also think there is something to students cleaning their schools in Japan. My problem is I used to know people who were paid to clean. Older members w...

Re: Book- Ready Player One

Almost done and I can see myself reading it again in the future. I definitely endorse the book. I can see why they picked Spielberg for the movie but I don't think he did the book justice exactly. Thanks for the reply. I knew it was very random thread haha... I regret nothing!

Cheers

Re: LDS fireside this Sunday on "Navigating Doubts"

Here are my notes so you get the gist of it in just a few minutes and spare yourselves the time investment... Thanks for doing that, wakarusa! Wow, the Good Ship Zion has been downgraded to a dented, rusty old tub manned by people who give you bad food and water. The stay-in-the-boat analogy never ...

Book- Ready Player One

I am jumping between reading and listening to the book Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I saw the movie and liked it well enough but heard the book was so much better. I got the book for my son for Christmas after hearing two teachers say it was one of their favorites. I decided to dive in myself a...

I requested the book from the library. Mine didnt have it but luckily I can pull books from most of the counties in my state. Hang i...

I am glad you are aware of codependency. Once you move past codependency you maybe able to leave the marriage or once you leave, you may be able to get past it. Why are you staying with him? Do you honestly believe that is what is best for the children? Is it money? Your family sucks.... not much mo...

Re: Support through the holidays

I did something impulsively yesterday... perhaps it was a gift to myself. My body practically did it on its own, I swear. The boys stopped by all dressed up to drop off their Christmas gifts from dad and then go back out with dad and mistress. I had just been bopping around the house listening to go...
