Re: Potential Relay Station for Kolob

If it's a relay station for Koloby shouldn't it be receiving its light from Kolob and passing it along? If the planet is unseen it isn't magnifying its calling very well. I bet its HTing numbers suck too.

Re: Very carefully specified instructions for sending missionary letters

I have a further question: How do I get one of these "Church pouches"? Its been a few decades but I doubt much has changed. The way the pouch system worked for my mission: Family to missionary: 1) Family wrote letters and mailed them to an address in SLC (they should provide you with a "pouch" addr...

Re: The big leak

If this is correct, which I have no reason to doubt, wouldn't the teams of people be faithful TBM's? Shouldn't that cause some severe cog dis? Of course most won't recognize it, but that should be a big red buzzing alarm to a believer. "This is the true church, there shouldn't be bad things in our ...

Re: Very carefully specified instructions for sending missionary letters

I'm sure it has something to do with whatever government regulations exist in the country that the missionary is serving in. I served in a pouch mission. People were free to send to the missionary directly... and the vast majority of the time that stuff was stolen. The folded computer paper without ...

Re: Fall 2016 Conference

I does seem like they were a lot more focused on telling/pleading people not to leave, but maybe we are just listening for that more now? (I think I am) I don't really get a sense from my family members that people leaving the church is even a problem, and they don't seem to be hearing it in talks ...

Confessions: In third grade, I cheated on my history exam. In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max’s toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play. In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog. When my mom sent me to the summer camp f...

Re: Different First Visions Accounts Shouldn't Challenge Your Faith - Whatever

Hopefully I won't repsond to every post, but I'm just so giddy that NOM is back I can't help myself! But this is an interesting point, because I suspect we ALL do this to some extent - tell a story, leave a few details out, exaggerate the details later to make the telling even better, etc. So I'm n...

Same here. I waited for a while for it to show up in my inbox then checked my "Junk" folder, it was there.
