Yes Brother Joseph. There are Stakes where both bishops and stake residents ask direct questions, such as:
When was the last time you looked at pornography?
When was the last time you masturbated?
Those are direct questions asked by both bishops and stake residents across 2 different leadership changes in a stake I am aware of.
"When was the last time you beat your.......... your wife. Yeah when was the last time you beat your wife?"

Never. I never had a need. God would take care of that for me dont you know?
