I tried to come back and you were gone

Post by Kelly » Tue Jan 31, 2017 7:26 pm

Imagine my fright. I hadn't been on NOM for several months and when I tried to beam down I found a vacant lot. I had to look around until I found life and now I'm reregistered. I used to be known as Lazyeye but now I'm using my own name. Glad to have a place to come home to.

Thanks.
The user formerly known as Lazyeye. Now living in SLC.

We are especially congratulatory when someone can register with their real name.

When I first saw your avatar I thought, "huh, is that Dr. Shades?"

Nope, never mind. Welcome back, though!

It was scary and sad when we were all lost NOMs without a home. :(

Welcome!
Your reference reminded me of this:

"Beam me up, Scotty...... Very funny, Scotty, now beam up my clothes."

Nice to have you both back. Welcome.

IIRC, our many thanks go to Corsair, Red Ryder, and Hagoth for resurrecting NOM. If I've left anyone out, someone please correct me.

Reminds me of a song from Banjo Player on the Roof, which was a tale of life and persecution in 19th Century Nauvoo.

Where are you going my little NOM, little NOM?
Where are you going my message board, my own?
Turn around and you're one, turn around and you're two
Turn around and you're a new board that we can view.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.
