FaceBook New Order Mormons page

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

FaceBook New Order Mormons page

Post by MalcolmVillager » Mon Jul 24, 2017 8:16 am

Hey all, Corey Killpack who runs his FB group is looking to turn it over to someone else. Does anyone here want to take it over, or is the anonymity here on NOM important to everyone? We could at least use I as a recruiting tool.

Sweet. Are we starting a cult?

I'm not up for leading it but would be down for some LSD, sex stuff, and mild mind control.

I would but I got off FB about five years ago because of all the noise and clutter. It's just IG for me now.

If we start a cult, let's skip over the requirement for special underwear and stick to a nice koolaid type beverage. I'd recommend Porter's Peach from Ogden's Own Distillery. Or for you more zealous types we can go with Porter's Fire.

This may sound crazy, but I did not know there was a NOM Facebook page. I don't use FB very often except to view pictures posted by my siblings. Is the group private or secret? (heh, "secret" or "sacred")

Bruce R. M has provided us instruction on how to create a cult, thanks to the recent mormon leaks.

I've always been glad that NOM has survived as a traditional message board rather than losing all of its members to Facebook the way some other sites have. Facebook is useful for some purposes, but I think it makes for a pretty poor discussion forum.

I had not realized that there was a non-secret NOM group out there. It appears that this one is "closed," meaning that anyone can see that you are a member but non-members can't see the posts.

I've got to hand it to McConkie, he was prolific. Maybe more prolific than Joseph Smith. :o
God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.

I'd be willing to take it over. I think it could be a good tool to push people towards this board. Send me a PM.
