I forgot to rate Oaks. Add another -100. And another -10,000 for every LGBT mormon kid who commits suicide or gets kicked out of their loving LDS home in the next 6 months.

Sorry Elder Oaks, but we DO criticize the leadership of the church, ESPECIALLY when the criticism is true.

It has been noted.
Oaks is sitting at -240 as of now. A tally of his final score will be noted at the beginning of next April GC.

+10 to Elder Holland for talking about Jesus without even mentioningJoseph Smith and Thomas Count Dooku.

+5 for speaking the words "toxic perfectionism."
I just kept thinking that it was his blankety blank church that taught me the toxic perfectionism and how I would never be "good enough" because I lacked the priesthood antenna. It wasn't "Satan" at all, but the church. So I give him -5 for blaming on Satan what it is the church that accomplishes.

So much of the stuff they preach against is just stuff the church already does or is doing.

I am also nominating Oaks for the worst most hateful talk of this year's conference. I am confident no one will beat him out of that honor. Call it, the, " I had to leave the room before I threw up," award.
