My EQ president will not be excited about a change like this. He was already unamused by being retained as EQ president after the April conference.

Okay, it's one of those "This is different but not really" announcements. Sigh.

This was announced via email to bishoprics, EQ presidencies, RS presidencies, high council, stake presidency. It basically says the bishop now can shift the responsibility of missionary work and temple and family history work to the EQ presidency and RS presidency. The ward mission leader can work under the EQ president or not have one at all. Instead delegating it to the a member of the EQ presidency counselor.
