About time...though having taken the training it is pretty tame....

I will likely have to take this training. I doubt it is anywhere close to the BSA training. I also doubt a background check is required either.
Still sounds lame.

I just completed the training. It is not comparable to the BSA training at all.

Just this past week I had to renew abuse training for scouting and had to take a separate course to coach my son's soccer team. They were each 2+ hours of information, training, and scenario quizzes. I finished the church training in 20 minutes, including interruptions from kiddos in the house. :roll:

If you suspect or hear about abuse and you are a regular member, call the authorities. If you are a leader, call the Church's law firm.

Okay, that's all I know about it. I haven't gone through any training.
