You're right, MoPag. It's been pretty underwhelming.

Sis M had a pretty good insight last night about the solemn assembly - she thinks it's just because it's Palm Sunday, not for any announcement. That's an interesting insight, and odds are pretty good.

This is the Solemn Assembly session, right?

I mean... at least they are recognizing Palm Sunday. They barely recognize Easter usually.

To the puzzlement of those who are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the excitement of those who are, church President Russell M. Nelson announced he would convene a "solemn assembly" of church members on Sunday morning.

The solemn assembly will begin once Nelson leads church members in a "hosanna shout," according to information provided by the church's media relations department.
The solemn assembly is usually reserved for the dedication of new Latter-day Saint temples, the swearing-in of new church presidents, and other significant events. The declaration of a "worldwide" solemn assembly was significant, a church spokesperson confirmed, "and also pretty rare."
The church's president also made the promise of planned announcements at the solemn assembly.

Today is the day that the church drops some big time revelation to pull the rug out from all the nonbelievers who laughed at what was a completely tone-deaf first day of GenCon.

Just you wait!

The a capella harmonies on this hymn are giving me chills. It's got a very early 19th century feel.

It certainly doesn't hold a candle to his birthday party.

Rasband has a lot of work to do to beat Joy for the suck-up award. He better have a video!
