Do you need a laugh or smile in these crazy times?

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

Do you need a laugh or smile in these crazy times?

Post by Lithium Sunset » Wed Apr 08, 2020 10:26 am

One of Mann’s videos was sent to me this morning, and I had to share with my fine NOM friends. Seriously, this is good stuff. I‘m so glad that I am not such a prude/uptight anymore. I can enjoy these to the fullest.

As for me- my bishop is sending really gross messages, “A living Prophet of the Lord has prepared us for these times. Come Follow Me, changes to the children & youth programs, and stronger emphasis on home centered/church supported gospel learning/living, were all inspired for these times,” but I am ignoring them and also the missionary phone calls. We are fine here... the virus cannot stop my mounds of homework it seems. Boys started online (graded) school this week. I wrote a paper for school a couple weeks ago about leaving the church. I may share it on here one day... If I get the nerve.

Stay safe (home) and healthy. I hope this helps brighten your day and I am sorry if you are sick or have lost a loved one.

I have treated myself to a deluxe bowl of ramen these last two mornings for breakfast. This morning I even got the softboiled eggs perfect. Think I will discontinue that single sheet of nori in the bowl or use half as much from now on. I say this in the name of ramen. Hey, when times get crazy you got to do something to cope. Laugh about it, cry about it or perhaps make ramen.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

Sounds like a solid plan to me! Here’s to ramen!
You can’t always keep with the routine. Well... I guess you can try haha.

And welcome RR!

This can be a blueprint to guide you through these trying COVID times. Easy to do and nourishing:
