Pretty meh.

Sometimes the primary president tries to give kid friendly talks. I kind of feel like she was trying to do that, but not really. It didn't pan out.

Yes, and after a while they get a strong urge when the congregation sings that hymn. Masturbation and the hymn become tied in the brain just like Pavlov’s dogs and the bell.

Why oh why is this church so obsessed with sex? I mean it certainly isn't because we were founded by a sexual predator.

-100 for encouraging scrupulousity. ONE bad thought will RUIN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. Seriously, any mental health practitioner worth her salt will tell you this is UNHEALTHY AND WRONG.

+20 for giving a talk on sex without once mentioning sex. You really have to admire his creativity.

Not much changed. I was in YM in the 80s and we had to watch that river video on chastity. Yuck.

Yeah, I tried to cut Soares some slack, since he's given some good talks in the past. But this is BAAAAAAAD. This is the kind of thing that leads LGBT and other youth to suicide. We should know by now that this kind of crap is NOT best practice.
