Happy Halloween!

Post by Hagoth » Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:28 am

Pretty scary Halloween this year.

I believe we skipped the Halloween unveiling tradition last year, but I think everyone needs a good laugh, so here's my goofy face. Feel free to throw darts.

First time!

So... how did this tradition start?

Hi Reuben! It goes as far back into NOM 1.0 history as I can remember. I'm gonna say Satan started it in the Garden because it had been done in other worlds.

Hey, why not.

I think Deznat is absolutely correct about the gateway to apostasy. For an all-too-brief moment, all the coloured shirts and facial hair that I glimpsed made it clear that these cultural sins lead to questioning, doubting, and to New Order Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saintism. The horror. The horror.

Sadly, I must remain masked and Morrissey'd for my own protection. One day I will reveal the clown behind the circus.

I was SO going to do this this year, but was in the last minute madness of moving. (Headed up to Wyoming on Nov 1st.)
There are 2 Gods. One who created us. The other you created. The God you made up is just like you-thrives on flattery-makes you live in fear.

Believe in the God who created us. And the God you created should be abolished.

I grew up in Wyoming! The one regret I have about moving to TX is that I miss the Wyoming mountains. Well, I guess I also hate the humidity here, but that is bearable so long as I skip garments. ;)

Anyway, say hi to the mountains for me!

I'll say hi to the ones around Rock Springs. That's as far in as I've gotten.

When I stopped wearing garments, I was a lot colder in the winters. Then I made the connection: I wasn't wearing the extra clothing.
