An image to show how things are here.

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

The current situation in the Dutch Stakes

An enormous storm battering our coastal defences, and SP´s ask us to stay put....?
My opinion: Don´t trust in the arm of flesh, look for higher ground.
And many members are on the move towards the exit.

Such a visually poetic analogy.

I'm not sure whether it's literal or metaphorical.

If you consider the topography of Holland it sorta becomes metaphorical by default.

This may sound like a silly question, but is there higher ground in Holland? Kinda sounds like trading broccoli for Brussels sprouts.

Holding the iron rod at an elevation of an extra 20 feet sounds wise. It is not a case of deserting the tulips as much as preserving future tithe payers.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.
