The true order of tithing

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

I can really relate to this. When we were younger and the kids little we struggled mightily financially. I could not find a decent job so I ended up in the military that helped slightly but we were still broke all the time. It came down to tithing or food/bills it was a tough choice so I paid part of the tithing and felt soooooo guilty all the time !! If the car broke or some other small catastrophe I was always reminded by my wife that see that's why you should have paid your tithing !!! That didn't help to say the least. I now pay tithing most of the time because we are far better off at age 61 than we were at age 21 not because church leaders say so but it is a voluntary contribution to support the church here on earth at least that's the way I see it.
