Does the Book of Mormon make any mention of foods eaten by the indigenous peoples such as pemican, wild rice, maple syrup, chocolate, turkeys, buffalo, maize, pumpkins, and beans?

I know Mormons were familiar with maize or they would not have gotten that Children of the Corn moniker. ;)

I think it mentions liver with fava beans and a nice Chianti.

We know for a fact that Curelom and Cumom are "useful" animals, but inquiring penguins need to know: Are they edible?
