To add on to what lostinthemiddlemormonism said. He needs to go a little farther and acknowledge that worship of church leaders is also distracting people from God. Then I'd really get behind him. Still +5 in my opinion.

As long as we remember that “the church” is NOT our loving father, we are immune to that weapon. Just to give you some emotional immunity for when someone does that to you.

You know, it just stuck me that I doesn’t matter if we know better, or what is used to try to guild us back to church, what hurts is that someone we love doesn’t care how we feel or what we have experienced, they ONLY care that we stay in the blankety blank church. They deny how we feel as real, thus invalidating us as human.
