OMG did he just really say that? He just brags about his ancestors then says his grandpa told him not to brag about his ancestors.

Don't rely on your Mormon pioneer heritage... that he's currently going out of his way to mention in conference and that almost certainly made it possible for him to be called as an apostle.

I heard Cook's voice from the room over, and literally just came to see the Cook the crook meme! That's sad you can't get it to work.
Best conference ever, not really listening. Grandkid doesn't seem to give a rat's tookus either.

Think celestial. There it is!
And he had the biggest smile leading up to it. So much so he flubbed the line a little. He was so excited to say it.
Bless his heart.

The elephant in the room is the priesthood ban prior to 1978 that limited black families' eternal progression and of course the ongoing priesthood ban for women.

I zoned out for the first hour and some of this session but so far conference has mostly been boring. More boring than usual.
Given some talks I've heard in the past, I'll take boring.

Serious question. Does anyone believe that the church will ever move on from saying the word "covenant" 33 times per hour?
Someone needs to do a word-analysis thingy on the LD$-Inc. website.
I wouldn't be surprised if use of that word has gone up significantly during the reign of Rusty Nel.

Thanks to all who sacrificed to the Gods of Boredom to produce NOMference. I only accidentally heard a couple of conference/primary-voice words when I accidentally wandered through a room where one of the old stooges was speaking trough a television.
