Not to spoil things but the Rajneeshi event in Oregon is the subject of this Netflix documentary. It's 6 parts and I don't see how you can't see Independence/Far West/Nauvoo in the the entire thing...including their own police and currency...

Try it. It may freak you out.

My husband has been looking forward to this and we watched the first part last night. I recommend My Life in Orange: Growing Up with the Guru. I read it several years ago and enjoyed it. It was fascinating to read about a boy my own age, growing up and living only a couple hundred miles from me in a world so different.
