If I could ask them one question . . . Come Follow Me, Lesson 41

Post by annotatedbom » Sun Oct 18, 2020 6:12 am

For Come Follow Me, Lesson 41, Oct 19-25, 2020, 3 Ne 27 - 4 Ne

If I wanted to encourage thought and try to understand devout believers better, I might ask:
Would it be better if I had not been born?

See the Things to consider for this lesson.

And, here’s a list of some other observations about this lesson’s reading.

Enjoy!

Thank you for this and all the hard work you do. A bit OT but before I joined this site, while browsing the forum, seeing these threads and finding the annotated BoM site was what finally tipped me into wanting to be a part of the discussions here. What an empowering find, getting lost for hours on your site and feeling free to think and feeling validated for my own questions and the little things I noticed.

Wow! Those are very kind words. Thank you.

I'm so glad you found and joined NOM. It's an amazing community. I think the magnitude and mix of philosophic discussion, scientific information, kind-heartedness, and humor here are unmatched in the spectrum of Mormon sites.

Thanks friend,

Amen. Be it ever so humble there’s no place like NOM. 😁
God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.
