I hope hymns like this and this style of singing makes it into the new hymnal.
This is footage of the LDS delegation at the last night of vigil for the Late Queen Mother of Tonga at the royal palace. This outside the throne room where Her Late Majesty lay in state and where the King and family held vigil. Every major denomination is given time to say prayers, give tribute and sing hymns. You will notice a bald man with a dark tan scarf, that is HRH Prince Ata, then youngest child of the King of Tonga, a LDS member, a convert much to the displeasure of his parents. Quite funny actually. At his original baptism, his parents were away and they sent soldiers from the Palace, their furious son sent them away, so the King sent the Prime Minister to try and persuade him to delay until his parents returned. The Stake President convinced him to delay it. HRH was eventually baptised.
