TV shows

Post by Emower » Tue Jul 25, 2017 10:04 pm

I found a show on Netflix the other day called Madam Secretary. It's all about the Secretary of State and associated drama. It is really good, maybe one of my favorite shows ever. It's very engaging all the way around. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.

I will have to watch it. My wife and I have been watching on Starz the original series The White Queen and The White Princess. They are about the struggles of Kings, Queens, and Thrones in the 1300-1400s. They are well put together, good acting. We have both really enjoyed them. They are rated MA, which is not R for all TBMs that care. There is slight nudity and enough King and Queen sex to make it worth watching. That's what I joking tell the Mrs, anyway. Has been nice to watch these series with my wife.

Haven't watched the show, but recently started reading the books. I'm enjoying them.

Just finished House of Cards - Kevin Spacey is so good! Disturbing how closely they match reality. Will check out the others mentioned here. Looking forward to the new Stranger Things.

On Amazon Prime we enjoyed binge watching Patriot (highly recommended) and Last Man on Earth was fun. I tried Sneaky Pete, but couldn't get into the characters.

On Hulu - Handmaid's Tale was great! Now watching Ozark, which is pretty good.

Books???

I knew it was related to some books, but I thought it was more like a distant cousin.

Do they have attractive 'images' in the books?

They are...descriptive, but no pictures I'm sad to say.

No, but they do have the advantage of actually being good.

I think I'm going to have to pull the trigger on watching that show, add HBO to my Amazon Prime to get the GoT VODs and binge them.
