Heaven Hill Mellow Corn BiB. Straight forward and pleasant (though uncomplex), and hard to beat the price at $10.99. Not everything on the bottom shelf is only good for dumping in Diet Dr. Pepper.

Eating it now. Yes, I said eating. I made the mistake of putting frozen peaches in instead of thawing them out or using canned ones, so now I have a margarita smoothie.

Still nice, because I like smoothies.

Nothing wrong with an adult smoothie. I've been known to put a little rum in a pineapple smoothie.

99.9% of the time I'd never recommend drinking your bong water. However, if you use a chilled red or white Mascato, frosty freeze a clean glass bong then swig the vine juice after just a few hits of a quality herb...it kicks off a wonderful buzz even the birds and bees would be jealous of. Don't try this with anything stronger than wine. I do plan to try this with Epic's Brainless on Cherries, that's a new favorite strong beer.

I love heavily peated Scotch. I've tried Laphroaig, Ardbeg, and of course Lagavulin. I have plans on trying the other Islay distilleries as the opportunities present themselves. Not sure if Kilchoman, Bruidladdich , or Bunnahabhain is next. Branching out beyond Islay; Glenfiddich Fire & Cane interests me greatly and I expect I'll enjoy it when I get to try it (Rum finished and peated? Yes please!).

Going to be popping the cork on a store pick Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey. I'm looking forward to it but have been limiting the number of open bottles I keep so a spot just opened up in the line-up from finishing off a Michter's American Unblended Whiskey.

Edit: Tried it and liked it.

I tried something called a High Octane Cream Soda at Red Rock last weekend, the high octane component being rum. It got the job done but fell short of a plain old fashioned rum and Coke.

Lapsang souchong. It's a, traditionally, pine-wood smoked black tea. Tasty, tasty smokiness. I think I'm in love.

Just about to settle down with some coffee and NOM conference reporting. (I'm very grateful for those who start conference threads, especially since I finally have zero interest in actually tuning in to the series itself.)
