Friend of the Family

Anyone else watch this series yet?

I'm not going to give anything away, but I will say that as I watched this series it made me think a lot about Joe Smith and the methods he used to abuse young girls. There is a cruel irony here for these mormon families that were taken advantage of by this predator and how the leadership helped enable it.

Netflix has a documentary called "Abducted in Plain Sight" that is about the kidnappings.

I have seen that. That is a eye opener. I have seen promos for "Friend of the Family", but have not watched it yet. Has anyone seen both? Do they cover the same ground, or do the go over different materiel?

That was pretty jaw-dropping. For me it really underscored how Mormonism can condition people to be manipulated.
