Honesty Litmus test

Post by deacon blues »

Here's a new litmus test for honesty in politicians and other people.
Who started the war between Russia and Ukraine?
Is there an equally effective litmus test for honesty in Church leaders and other people?
God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.

How did Emma Smith feel about Fanny Alger after she caught her in the barn with Joseph?

What is more important than a large steeple?
"I would write about life. Every person would be exactly as important as any other. All facts would also be given equal weightiness. Nothing would be left out. Let others bring order to chaos. I would bring chaos to order" - Kurt Vonnegut

Is evil speaking of the Lord's anointed worse than lying?

Richard Van Wagoner said: "when evil speaking of the Lord's anointed is considered worse than lying the truth suffers."

If the prophet told you to do one thing, but God told you to do the opposite, what would you do?

Those without honesty would say that this would never happen, that a prophet would not ever tell you to do something different than God.

Yes. They know the right answer, but they are uncomfortable saying it. Reminds me of people in Senate hearings.

There is no such thing as lying to the Lord.

There is only telling the truth in different ways.

When you do what people consider lying, the truth is that you are protecting something, protecting someone, pushing your own advantage, misleading someone for your own advantage, etc.

The truth is always happening.
And the lord always knows.

When you speak badly of the Lord's anointed, you are speaking from your own insecurities and fears and vain ambitions.

The Lord knows.
The people will find out.

Who started the war is kind of irrelevant.

There are long veins of hostility reaching into the past in those countries. Should you ever go to those countries, you will find that many of them speak the same language, but have changed the vowel sounds so as to appear different. This is something they seem to do on purpose to isolate themselves. Someone in Macedonia might sound completely different than someone from Ukraine, but somehow they understand each other.

What happened in the recent events.

Part of Ukraine belonged to Russia through ethnic relationships. That was the region of Crimea. Ukraine also had resources that Russia considered to be their own, of course, those are contested.

Russia was deeply wounded and harshly abused by Europe during World War II. It took them years to get up and running. And quite literally, it was Russia who eventually took over and conquered Germany.

As a protective maneuver, they retreated and took Eastern Germany.

From that moment on, the hostilities between Russia and Europe have festered.

When the USSR collapsed, and Ukraine became separate, there were still tensions between Ukraine and Russia.

Russia said, do not bring NATO to our borders.

And of course, NATO continued to encroach and take over countries that used to be part of Russia.

Obama was very firm and telling Putin, "this is a line in the sand."

Putin then stepped over The line in the Sand. And Obama was very firm in muttering the words, "knock it off." Obama was actually caught on a hot mic negotiating with Russian agent about having to wait until after the election before he could be more helpful.

And he sent a nice care package to Ukraine with blankets and food.

Obama then kicked Russia out of the G8 group of world economy.

This put Russia in a tight place. Isolated. Hated. Little bit vulnerable.

I could go on.
It's America. Or Obama did it.

America started that conflict. Ever since Bill Clinton invaded the Balkans, Americans have been taking over companies and energy resources in eastern europe. Wesley Clarke [former NATO Commander] is in charge of a lot of the ground related energy resources, such as coal.

Mitt romney, Joe biden, maybe Lindsey graham, Wesley clark, and other high-profile politicians have been manipulating and being involved in the energy of those countries. They want to control those companies through their energy resources.

Yes, that is what you guys are supporting.
