Now that I'm at a bona fide keyboard and it's easier to be a bit less vague than usual, the show is about an adult daughter and her daughter moving back home. The family is running a megachurch in Tennessee. There's wealth, tax fraud, political leveraging, sexual abuse coverups and payoffs, religious rhetoric and scriptures wielded to control and threaten, people manipulating soft power by association with the more powerful, inter family dynamics etc etc.
