Sunday Afternoon NOMference!!!

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

Ooo, a bunch more "announced" temples that may or may not actually get built.

I think even the TBMs are starting to catch on. Rusty has used this trick so many times that we are starting to see through it.

No, what they did was tie a rope around the ensign's waist,
Of course, swinging the microwave oven by the cord lead Elder Holland to ask the question of whether the circle will be unbroken, bye and bye Lord, buy and buy.

It hasn't been fun. But I'm glad to have all of you, my NOM friends, to pass GC away.

Thank you to all! And to all, good night!

They were able to add that odd expression, "Even Jesus Christ" in the closing prayer.

Be grateful the guy kept it to one single example. Usually its "the Savior, even Jesus Christ, even the Messiah, even the Shepherd, even the Lamb, even the great Fisher of men, even the breaker of bread, even the divider of whine, even the thrasher of money changers, even the brother of Satan..."

A conference of no substance, no new revelations , nothing really at all , a nothin muffin conference!!!!!! I'm not at all surprised. Perhaps someday they will see the error of their ways. I was for some odd reason holding out hope for a rollback of the word of wisdom !! Disappointed to say the least !! I guess I will keep smuggling my coffee !!

They're still hammering people about green tea, for crying out loud. Coffee is waaay down the road. Decaf hasn't even appeared over the horizon yet.

Yes, when the church gives up the need to control the members for nothing other than to prove loyalty, then you can expect them to consider letting up on the health non helpful parts of WoW. Till then, expect them to be unreasonable as to whether coffee in moderation is healthy for you or not. Their need to control is greater than their need to be logical.
