Can anyone interpret or explain that^^^^^^
No relief and no reprieve
Obscenity just so diseased
Where is he when you hit your knees?
Your God, your God, your God
Breakin' down, oh, how we plead
But just one more, I swear, I need
Where is he when you hit your knees?
Your God, your God, your God
Your God, your God, your God
I am not a huge fan of the lyrics, chords, instruments or video. I damn sure can't figure out the relevance of the Priest, Elder and toilet.
What's your best guess? Often music videos have nothing to do with the meaning of the lyrics. They're produced in such a way that you'll watch them over and over so you'll spend a great amount of time trying to figure out the meaning. More clicks equals more money.
The simplest guess would be that the meaning of the lyrics is religious in some way. Kinda like this video from A Perfect Circle.

Lyrics
"You're such an inspiration for the ways
That I'll never ever choose to be
Oh so many ways for me to show you
How your savior has abandoned you
Fuck your God
Your Lord and your Christ
He did this
Took all you had and
Left you this way
Still you pray, you never stray
Never taste of the fruit
You never thought to question why
It's not like you killed someone
It's not like you drove a hateful spear into his side
Praise the one who left you
Broken down and paralyzed
He did it all for you
He did it all for you"
Maynard the lead singer if Tool and A Perfect Circle wrote the lyrics because his mom had a stroke and spent the rest of her life in a wheel chair and he couldn't figure out why she still had faith in a God that he thought abandoned her.
