Actually unsure how to feel about this talk. On the one hand, he recognises that life is unfair for people and covid has been really bad for the marginalised. On the other hand, just saying Jesus will help you out is not quite a solution.

Anything the church could do something about is something Jesus will fix later. Just gotta have that convenient eternal perspective. Viva la afterlife!

It's what a person in power says to prevent the unprivileged from staging a revolt. Jesus will give you a reward and punish the people in power in the next life. I am also not sure about this talk. It is good to say that Christ will fix all unfairness. If you can see this as part of the atonement, it is good. But just saying it isn’t enough. We humans need to be actively involved in undoing the damage of unfairness and not leave it to Jesus.
