Kirby hit another home run today with his latest column
found here
A sample of his prose:
Proper maintenance of the little factory was to avoid anything resembling trial runs lest they became a source of entertainment rather than business. It made sense given that I almost burned my little factory down during my teenage years.

Sure was different in the past. Back in Nauvoo, the Little Factories were thriving cottage industries that served the young female members of that town exceedingly well. Now they need to be boarded and shuttered. Where once there was joy there is now a dried tumbleweed blowin' past.

Couldn't agree more with Kirby. I too wonder why religion takes particular interest in everyone's little factories. Most world problems are a result of religion. It takes religious zealots to come up with ways to disfigure and render unpleasueable the sex organs.

That was a hilarious article! I especially liked the line that someone "cut the roof off my little factory before I was able to consent!" LOL.

While Kirby's article is quite humorous, this topic is a huge trigger for me.
That damned talk by BKP was a wrecking ball to my self image and self respect as a youth. The obsession with ridgid and damaging standards of sexuality in the church caused anguish in my early teen years with side affects that linger to this day.
This topic alone is reason enough for me to want to leave the church to protect my children.
