This sounds like what my brain is trying to tell me if only I would stop talking and listen to it for a few minutes:

Woooaaah, Nelly.

I recommend listening clear to the end. The last five minutes started to make a little sense. I have long been attracted to the idea of a Divine Feminine. I've wondered what led Joseph Smith to the idea of a Heavenly Mother. To me, it's the best idea he ever had, and God knows he had lots of ideas. Too bad the current Church is so shy about exploring it. Finally, I wish it didn't have the creepy picture and music.
Thanks for posting, Hagoth.

When Kolob is in the seventh house,
and the Brethren align with the First Presidency,
Then the gospel will guide the planets
and obedience will steer the stars!

Joseph Campbell demonstrated over and over again that the imagery of the entire birth of the entire cosmos is that it emerges from the mother's womb of creation. It is the Goddess which is our ground. It is from the Goddess that all there is, is. This is so magnificent and makes so much sense to me. I never understood the reticence of Mormonism against the Divine Feminine when literally all other religions in the East had it. Including the ancient Jews. Patriarchy has done a dastardly job against Mom. It's time to seriously rebel. What, do we actually think Dad is gonna be able to spank us when we get back home when Mom is hugging us and telling us what good kids we actually were?
I just went back and listened to it after typing this note. What a marvelous lecture!!! Thanks for giving us the heads up on the link!!! No one matches Alan Watts for exciting spiritual and profound knowledge in lectures. The Brethren really, really, REALLY need to start listening to his delivery and make their own this instructive, interesting, spiritual and uplifting!!!
