He did not say and I don't know if he truly knows the difference. I am confident that it was just some BYU religion teacher giving his opinion after class to a crowd that was devout and trying to break into CES. In more recent years I have had some particularly devout family members talk about the wildest of deep doctrines they heard from BYU religion teachers after class. This includes a brother-in-law that took every class that Hugh Nibley taught during the late 1980s.wtfluff wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 6:29 pmWhich "First Presidency Vault" was your Semi-Gnarly teacher talking about? The vault up little cottonwood canyon, or the vault downtown somewhere in the LD$-Inc. compound? These details are important, don't ya know? (Unless of course you are an apologist, then details mean nothing of course.)
Discussions toward a better understanding of LDS doctrine, history, and culture. Discussion of Christianity, religion, and faith in general is welcome.
