The Community of Christ (RLDS). The LDS. And the FLDS.
A progression from the gentlest form of Mormonism to the most virulent. Brighamite Mormons would see this as a Goldilocks-type of thing, where the middle one is "just right".
But the measurement is poison, not temperature.

Re: Trump & Church

As evil as Trump is, and they know he's evil, they believe democrats are worse. Sure, democrats may respect the rule of law, but does that excuse the fact that they eat babies? I know because some guy on the internet said so. Which would you prefer, a white nationalist dictatorship or a bunch of ba...

Re: Phrases that aren't in the scriptures, but should be....

There are no hard lines between me and you, you and God, God and nature, nature and me. God is everywhere because everything is God. The only thing standing between you and awareness of divinity is the thickness of your own skull. If you think you know God you have already missed the boat. If anyone...

Re: Supporting our own

You talk rather fast. That's ok.. not a condemnation or suggestion to slow down, just an observation. You obviously process information very quickly, or at least this information. Yeah I definitely need to work on that. :) Funny, I listen on 1.5x speed and I hadn't noticed. Probably because I spend...

Re: Major Depression Diagnosis by State

But the Zoom meeting contains a psychological baseball bat: It's ALWAYS the fault of the members. If they are battling depression and hopelessness, then it's their guilty conscience speaking to them, saying that they are not doing or paying enough. It's always going to be twisted around so that the...

Re: Major Depression Diagnosis by State

Mrs. Hagoth still listens to church via Zoom and was a bit miffed this week about a talk on this topic. She was expecting (hoping) for some advice about self care, but then it took a 90 degree turn and became about how you're feeling that way because you're not doing enough. You need to step it up!

Re: Major Depression Diagnosis by State

The organized church, it follows, works like a protection racket. And it's always been that way: Acts 5: 1 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and p...

What do people in Maine have that is so depressing? Perhaps the Nova Scotia accent? Long winters, few people, open spaces and mountains? Few Mormons?
My first response to the map was, "Wow, the missionaries must be having a lot of success in Minnesota and Maine!"

Hagoth thanks for sending this. Here’s my return and report. Thanks for the feedback RR! If your back is a problem you might want to try it while sitting in a comfortable chair. The short sessions I sent you can be done sitting up too. Lately I've been doing short sessions and going right into medi...

The fungus doesn't have any alien or cosmic knowledge it will bestow upon you. Call BS on anyone who goes on one of these trips and comes back as some prophet that wants to tell the world how they should live their lives. Amen, Brother. But it can bestow deep insight and knowledge that already belo...

I'm so intrigued by this topic and people's experience with it. Who knows, perhaps, I'll become a member of the Divine Assembly perhaps? All you have to do is put your name on the list: https://www.thedivineassembly.org/join It's a $50 donation if you want to be a literal card carrying member: http...

Re: "Keep Sweet" or I will break you.

I turned it on for a little bit this week during work, so I didn’t pay as much attention to it as needed. I’m mostly through the first episode. It talks quite a bit about Rulon Jeff’s and all of his wives. Pretty disgusting actually; creepy for sure. And it goes downhill rapidly from there. It woul...

I really want to watch this but am pretty sure watching it while my wife is around would be problematic... hopefully I can check it out soon though. So, she's not keeping sweet?! Just fall back on the standard Mormon perspective about what can happen when true principles are corrupted by priestcraft.

I'm reading How To Change Your Mind right now and it is very illuminating. Thanks for the great read Hagoth! In some ways, and this may sound strange, but even reading this book has helped me to be open to letting go of my ego a bit more. Such a fascinating subject! This just in. Netflix will be ai...

Exciting! I hope Mrs. Stealth will find it edifying in the long run. I also hope it does well, has a long run, and helps a lot of people.

And I wish I could be there!
