Mike Lee

Post by deacon blues »

Lee wrote from his @BasedMikeLee account: “This is what happens when Marxists don’t get their way.”

Then a half hour later, in a tone that has been interpreted across the internet as mocking, he again shared the image with the message: “Nightmare on Waltz [sic] Street.” It appeared to falsely link the slayings to Minnesota’s Democratic Gov. Tim Walz, who was his party’s nominee for vice president last year.

He wasn't listening during primary class? :o
God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.

I posted on the Trump thread about this, but here is an excellent article:

https://www.thebulwark.com/p/mike-lee-t ... -committee

Senator Lee has become obsessed with posting Twitter articles, like an addiction. He even took on the name "Based Mike Lee," signaling he has gone MAGA crazy.

This has become an international story with everyone reviling Mike Lee. I especially liked it when one of his Senate colleagues reminded him of how gross and inappropriate it was to be making a joke of a fellow Senator and her husband being brutally murdered. Nobody supported Lee.

As the article said, Mike Lee needs an Intervention. MAGA has turned his brain to mush.

Yeah, but in the long run I wonder if it will hurt him. There seem to be a lot of people out there who love this kind of hateful, spiteful message. That's why these people are in power in the first place. MAGA has really forced me to make painful adjustments to my lifelong optimism about human kind.

Even the Deseret News has come out against Sen. Lee's hateful tweets. I imagine he still counts on overwhelming support from Utah County and Southward.

Here is a good post on comparing Mike to his father Rex, and how different they are

Mike Lee has introduced a bill that would require the United States to withdraw from NATO. I imagine the Europeans will react similarly, requiring Momons to withdraw from Europe.
