Pope Francis has died. He was 88 years old.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

One of the dumbest discussions in my TBM head was around succession of the Pope. The LDS church was the one true church simply because of the succession of the next apostle upon death of the prophet. God had already planned out who was next.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the great and abominable church of the devil was all holed up at the Vatican anxiously awaiting smoke signals.

Just wait... With the "christian-ization of LD$-inc. we might see puffs of smoke from the Salt Lake polygamy palace at some point in the future when they crown a new CEO. Hopefully someone on the inside can sneak something into the smoke-bomb so that the smoke is the color of the rainbow. (Hoooray - Jesus ain't returning this year!!!)

Someone should totally do that! Take rainbow colored smoke bombs to wherever they announce Oaks' rise ascension to the throne and light it off just before or just as they make the announcement. :lol:

How much longer do you need to serve?

Our bishop just changed last week after 5 and a half years!

The new guy is probably ok and will leave us the hell alone.
