I'm joining the fun on Saturday :). Got my PPE (gas mask, goggles, ear protection, bump hat, sign/shield... putting on the armor of g... putting on my Rosie the Riveter shirt.

Student asked - are you one of those fb moms (getting involved in political forums etc. - my kids are all adults now)
Yes. Yes I am.

Thank you Angel. I wish I could be there. Heat does things to my body, so I'll have to protest through donations and supporting others. I gave the first Democratic donation in my life yesterday.
God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.

I went to the U of U protest. I think there were more people there than at the dick-tater parade in D.C. Very peaceful. Healthy, clean-cut people with nice teeth who spoke in intelligent, conversational tones. Just 3 campus cops chilling in the shade on the terrace. Trump must be SO pissed that more people showed up for the No Kings rallies than for his goosestep parade, that there was no violence, and that his soldiers didn't get to shoot anyone.

My favorite sign: They're eating the CHECKS! They're eating the BALANCES!

Speaking of checks, I'm still waiting for mine. Trump told me I was going to get paid. I find it VERY difficult to believe he wasn't telling the truth about something.

Looks like the parade attendance paled in comparison to the No Kings rallies.

It's really sad that someone died here in SLC, but I suppose it could have been much worse if the guy had unloaded into the crowd.

Who was that "peacekeeping team" that did the shooting?
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

BTW, Utah's own joke of a Senator, Mike Lee, has been called on the carpet for furnishing false information about the political assassin in Minnesota.

Pretty sure Lee as a Mormon will respond that he does not give apologies as part of his religion.
